Every day I have to wrap my head around how huge of an undertaking this is. I mean, 77 miles a day for forty days is A LOT. There is so much work to be done and only so many hours of the day, but I don’t regret choosing this as my senior project in the slightest.
This project has been so good for me on so many levels. I have learned to manage my time and communicate in a businesslike way and am in the best shape I’ve been in for years, though I know no matter how good of shape I am in this ride is going to push every limit I have.
I’m pleasantly surprised at the amount of support I have received so far. Together we have raised about 1,000 dollars. I would like to thank Janis, Simon, Vanessa, Sharon, Amy, Aubrie, Elizabeth with Kuykendall Solar, and Connor for their generous donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. I would also like to thank Brad Stegge, Simon Cacy, and Matt Denson for training with us. A thank you also goes out to: Bree Gunsworth Al-Rashid, for editing many drafts of articles and letters; Bernie McGoldrick, for his legal advise and expertise; and to Mr. Browning and Ms. Carr for their kind words written about me in a recent article. Lastly I would like to extend a huge thank you to Kyle and Kim Lewis for not only editing and providing tons of information and advise, but also for connecting us with Catalyst Marketing. We are really excited to see what are new partnership brings.
