The Great Divide trail is 2,696 miles long. It spans the distance between Banff, Canada and Antelope Wells, New Mexico, running along the eastern side of the Rocky Mountains. The trail is 90% dirt and contains 149,664 feet of climbing. The Divide snakes through five states, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. We plan on completing the divide in 35 to 40 days, biking an average of 77 miles a day.
